The UFC will give us one last card for May before a week off leading up to Volkov vs. Rozenstruik. This week's main event pits former champion Holly Holm versus the rising star Ketlen Vieira. Chase Hooper (10-2-1) and Felipe Colares (10-3) will square off in the second fight of the night in what I expect to be one of the more entertaining fights on the card. This featherweight matchup features two high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu artists who love to grapple.

If this fight stays standing, I expect Hooper to lose. Hooper is still very young at just 22 years old and doesn't quite have the stand-up game to hang with experienced strikers. This is why I am not backing Hooper on the moneyline. However, given that Colares is a black-belt Jiu-Jitsu artist and has experience grappling, I don't think he is opposed to taking this fight to the ground since that's where Hooper will be trying to get it for most of the fight.

Hooper landed a heel-hook submission on Peter Barrett back in 2020 by using his length and finding the hole in Barrett's grappling game. Hooper was getting pieced up on the feet up until he found the submission. I expect a similar fight tonight. Hooper is unusually long for a featherweight and will have a five-inch reach advantage over Colares tonight. He can use this length to find tricky angles in scrambles as he did against Barrett. It's a long shot, but I like Hooper to win this one by sub.

Chidi Njokuani (21-7) and Dusko Todorovic (11-2) will meet on the main card in what could indeed be the fight of the night. Both men come into this fight with serious power and willingness to trade. Njokuani is a lengthy, skilled kickboxer who had an extensive run in Bellator before ultimately getting picked up by the UFC. Todorovic is a power puncher who likes to set up his shots off his back foot.

Both men are fast starters and like to get the action going quickly. Todorovic has seen the third round twice in his 13 professional fights, and Chidi has gone to the scorecards eight times in his 28 professional fights. Both men also have a tendency to sacrifice defense for offense. Todorovic has had a knack for leaving his chin high, and he lacks head movement when trading. This led to his knockout loss to Punahele Soriano, and I believe it will lead to another one here from Chidi. Chidi also has one of the best nicknames, "Chidi Bang Bang." I'm taking Chidi to put out Todorovic's lights in what should be a banger of a fight.
