UFC Fight Night Prediction: Albert Duraev vs. Joaquin Buckley Best Bet
This coming Saturday's UFC returns with a bang as the always hard-hitting Joaquin Buckley emerges from wherever destitute area he resides in to take on Khamzats Chimaev's brother in Christ, Albert Duraev. These two Silverback gorillas do not offer much in terms of mic skills or charisma, but make up for it 10-fold with their genetic freak physiques and relentless, cardiovascular taxing pace.

Duraev is fresh off the heels of his first UFC victory against perennial punching bag Roman Can Kopylov, brutally finishing his fight in the contender series before that one and then some as he paves his destiny in and around the glorious octagon.
Buckley has seemingly rounded out his game and shown another side of his capabilities his last time out, out wrestling and hustling AL Hassan en route to an impressive decision victory. Both of these gentlemen pose an intricate threat to each other not just in the conventional sense, but in their trademark signature weak points as well. Historically speaking, Buckley has seemed to falter more often than not when his adversary would initiate any sort of grappling, something he has no doubt improved upon, but still a cause for concern nevertheless as that is Duraevs bread and butter pedigree.
He will no doubt look to take Buckley to the mat early, often avoiding any signature strikes in the process. Duraevs Achilles heel seems to be his less than stellar durability, ranging from his cardio failing him as he implements his frenetic pace, to his chin being cracked multiple times on occasion when it goes and gets tough. This will for sure play a factor in this weekend's matchup, as if Duraev cannot get Buckley down immediately, he might get caught with something coming in moving forward.
Now when it's all said and done, who wins Saturday. Although I really just want to draw a line in the sand and choose a side, I simply cannot due to the volatility and weaknesses that could be exploited by each party. Instead, I elect to play the under as I don't see this going to the cards at all no matter what. Either Buckley ends him early from supreme intercepting shots and a sloppy takedown by Duraev or Khamzats brother will successfully impose his will and finish Buckley with the hellacious ground and pound some time in the second. Either way, take yourself out of the equation and elect for the under to cash easy and rest fast.
