This coming weekend the UFC returns with a prelim home opener extravaganza."The Tarantula'' Jalin Turner aims to keep his winning streak alive against the always-game Australian Avenger, Brad "Quake" Riddell. This match is going to determine a lot of things moving forward at 155, ranging from can the young buck in Turner truly hang with the big dogs of the lightweight division, or is it too much too soon for facing a savvy grizzled vet in the Hugh Jackman inspired Riddell?
UFC 276 Brad Riddell vs. Jalen Turner Prediction
While he is only 3 years older, Brad will be compromising a whopping 7 inches of reach to Mr. Turner and surrendering 7 inches of height, making it truly a case of David vs Goliath in the literal, evangelical sense. If there is ever a positive to be highlighted by Brad Riddell however, it is his insane levels of tenacity and the prestigious camp he fights out of.
As you are probably already aware, City Kickboxing is the dazzling home of Israel Adesanya, scrappy kickboxers emulating from the land down under. With Dan Hooker, The Last StyleBender, and Alexander Volkanovski all ready, willing, and able training partners at Riddell's disposal. The thought of going against such a ferocious rat pack is a remarkably scary one. So who wins when we approach fight o'clock on Saturday with all of these variables accounted for?

Although Riddell has the advantages going for him in the illustrious gym he's training at and the tougher strength of schedule overall in the UFC when it comes down to brass Tax I am sighting with Cali's own Jalin Spider to put a fork in the plans of the Australian Takeover and bring it home to RVCA.
The fact of the matter is Turner is simply built differently, from his Jon Jones-inspired physical proportions all the way to his devastating 6 strike wombo combos. Riddell would have to rely on grappling to avoid such devastating blows to the head and given his muay Thai base and penchant to get into phone booth brawls, I don't see much wrestling being done on his side or on either party for that matter.
Give me Turner inside the distance and give it to me like I need air. Play his moneyline of course as we are not degenerates here and believe in the land of +ev, but don't worry for second folks this is easy cash.
