Bellator 284: Gracie vs Yamauchi Odds, Picks, Predictions

Former title challenger, Neiman Gracie looks to climb back into title contention when he faces perennial top contender, Goiti Yamauchi in the main event of Bellator 284.

Let's take a closer look at Bellator MMA's upcoming card.

Bellator 284 Start Time, Where To Watch, and Odds

  • When: Friday, August 12, 2022
  • Time: 9:00 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. PDT
  • Where: Sanford Pentagon, Sioux Falls, South Dakota
  • Where to Watch: Showtime

Neiman Gracie (11-3) vs. Goiti Yamauchi (27-5)

Brazilian contender, Neiman Gracie looms to bounce back after a recent roller coaster of results following a 9-0 start to his professional MMA career as the former title challenger has traded wins and losses in his past five outings, most recently being on the wrong end of a unanimous decision against Logan Storley, this past February.

Standing across from Gracie will be Japan's own, Goiti Yamauchi. The 29-year-old has been a staple of Bellator's lightweight and welterweight divisions as the veteran made his Bellator debut all the way back in 2013 when he was just 20 years old. Outside of a controversial split-decision loss against Dan Moret in April 2021, Yamauchi hasn't lost a bout since dropping a decision to current UFC contender and former longtime Bellator Lightweight Champion, Michael Chandler back in January 2018.
