Although the UFC is taking a brief hiatus after last Saturday's Buster Douglas spectacular of Leon Edwards dethroning Kamaru Usman and becoming the UK MMA GOAT, fear not as the apocalypse-proof Contender Series gallops as always into this coming Tuesday with a few more eyeballs and bets ready to be had. Although per the Tuesday card chalk plays seem to reign down once again, there is one singular wager that In my opinion stands out amongst the beaten path and should guarantee results.Â
Dana White Contender Series Week 5 Prediction
Josh Wang-Kim vs. Cameron Saaiman Prediction
As you ladies and gentlemen can probably surmise I am a total guy until the day I die, and such is this over under is something that I would be willing to bet my life on wholeheartedly. Josh Wang Kim is a Kung fu fighter with a penchant for the theatrical, utilizing shiny acrobatics and smooth grappling transitions to cut down and decimate his worthwhile adversaries. He has a twin brother who also fights professionally, training out of some of the most prestigious outings in all of San Diego. He takes on Cameron Saaiman, the latest South African Sensation fighting out of the camp of UFC up-and-comer Dricus Du Plessis.Â
He has remained undefeated throughout his short career, now looking to join his mentor up onto the big show. Now how do I see this fight when push eventually comes to shove this Tuesday? Contrary to what the odds would like you to believe, this fight is radically closer than what the betting line suggests. The fact of the matter is while there is not much tape out for Saaiman, the few snippets of footage show an athletic scrapper who's willing to end the fight early and often. Mixing that in with his training camp of Du Plessis as his head coach leads me to believe this fight is going to be a war, but a war that goes the distance due to both participants' immense durability and penchant for not being finished inside the distance. Give me the over to avoid a potential harrowing split decision and rest well, with peace in your mind and cash in your wallet.
