Raoni Barcelos vs. Trevin Jones Prediction

Barcelos at one point looked like the next big-time contender at bantamweight. But has dropped two straight close decisions against some high-level opponents. Barcelos has all the talent in the world. He is a great striker and a big-time submission threat also. Barcelos cardio at times can give him problems. He faces off with Trevin Jones who also comes off a loss. Both of these fighters are desperate and in need of a win. This fight will be a banger in my opinion. I can see some big shots being thrown by both of them and if you have watched these two fight before they look for the finish.

Barcelos in my opinion is super talented and should easily be a top 15 fighter. But his cardio has let him down the last two fights. In both of those fights he had a knockdown in but just couldn't get the finish. The one thing I expect him to do in this fight is to get the finish. He is steps ahead talent-wise over Trevin Jones. His ground game is way better and his striking is better. As long as he can avoid the big 1 punch power that Jones possesses, he should be fine. Jones has shown that he is always looking to take your head off. But I really expect Barcelos to counter his attack and finish him in this fight.

Barcelos fights are always bangers, and the fans love to watch him fight. He is personally one of my favorite fighters to watch. The way he fights is exciting. He is always looking for a finish and puts everything into his punch. I'm honestly not sold on Jones's skills at all. This fight could easily be Fight of The Night and someone from this fight will be getting a bonus for a finish. But in reality, Barcelos needs this win more than ever. If he loses here, he is on the verge of getting cut by the UFC. So I really expect Barcelos to show up and show out in this fight.
