One thing I will never understand is why Dariush never gets any love. He is one of the best lightweight fighters in the world and has shown it numerous times. He had a very unlucky freak injury happen that made him pull out of the Makachev fight that I really felt he could have won. Dariush is a very skilled fighter with a very good wrestling background. Dariush is one of those guys who will bring it all three rounds and not stop coming forward.

Gamrot, on the other hand, in my opinion, lost his last fight, but the judges gave it to him. Gamrot has shown that he doesn't fight well on his back foot, and that's where I feel Dariush will give him problems.

This fight is one of my most anticipated fights on the card. These two are straight brawlers and will bring it no matter who is across from them. Gamrot looked very sucked out at weigh inns and looked like he also had a tough weight cut. Dariush, you never know how he is feeling because he never shows any emotions at all. But one thing about Dariush is if he gets you down on the ground, you're not getting up. He is a very good wrestler, and I really expect him to push Gamrot up against the cage and make him feel uncomfortable.

Dariush is one of those fighters that comes into every fight with a game plan, and he uses it to perfection. Gamrot is a great fighter with some pretty good wins, but this is a level of step-up into competition with this fight. The oddsmakers are also not giving any love to Beneil at all in this fight.

When I saw the odds of this fight, I was shocked. Yes, I know that Beniel Dariush is coming in on a long layoff, but he is very good and will be trained and ready for this fight. Dariush has all the skills in the world to be a champion in the UFC, and I fully expect him to leave it all out in that cage Saturday. They are going to stop disrespecting Dariush after this fight and realize how good he really is. Gamrot is a gamer and can hit hard. But one thing Gamrot has struggled against is someone who can take a punch and come forward as Dariush can. I really expect this fight to be a brawl, but I'm taking the value, and the value is on Dariush!
