CFP National Championship Prop Pick: Riding George Pickens
The NCAA Championship Game is Monday Night so we'll obviously need some action on that. Not a side, not the total, but a player prop. It's just fun. Luckily for a game like this, we'll get tons for each side. It isn't like the regular season where you just get served with a running back and a couple receivers. We're getting everyone. That's fantastic because while the books are scrambling to hang numbers, they completely dropped the ball on one of the best players on the field. This line is bananas.

George Pickens Over 30.5 Receiving Yards (-115) (Bet $100 to win $86.96)
We're either betting this at DraftKings or FanDuel right now because BetMGM and Barstool haven't hung player props for this game yet. I'm sure they will at some point but as of right now, crickets. FanDuel has 34.5 for Pickens so I chose DraftKings. To be clear, I think he clears both but why not just go with 30.5?
Who is George Pickens? He's an absolute beast who tore his ACL in the spring. It was bad for him but good for us since this number would be 100+ had that not happened. It's crazy this kid is even playing but as I said, he's an absolute beast. That's what they do.
Pickens has only played in three games since coming back from the torn ACL. In those three games, he's only played 45 snaps. In total. That's it. I highly doubt that happens this week. Especially since he played 20 snaps against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. If I had to bet, I'd say he's on the field for way more snaps Monday night.
Being on the field helps because you can't get receiving yards if you are on the sidelines. That's just how receiving yards work. The thing is, we may only need one catch to get home on this number. After all, he had a 37-yard reception in the SEC Championship Game.
The trick is Alabama is probably going to have to shadow Brock Bowers with a safety. That kid destroyed them last time. The kid caught 10 balls for 139 yards. If Pickens doesn't have to worry about a safety over the top, he can beat his guy deep. We only need it to happen once. This could be the greatest bet we ever make.
