Alabama vs. Georgia Prediction

The college football championship is finally here.

We have Alabama going against Georgia. Alabama is used to this spot, with Coach Nick Saban winning six National Championship in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, and, most recently, 2020.

Alabama defeated Georgia earlier this season 41-24. So Alabama should be the favorite here, right? WRONG! Alabama is the underdog getting +3 points and the moneyline is +120. It’s certainly interesting that the “better” team here, a team that already beat Georgia this season, is the underdog in this spot.

We are rolling with Georgia Bulldogs in this spot for many reasons. As we mentioned, the line is off -- Alabama should not be the underdog. As such, the public money is pouring into Alabama, which is even better for our Georgia bet. The fact Alabama Star wideout, John Metchie will be OUT this game due to unfortunate injuries certainly doesn't hurt our bet as well.

Most importantly, my model has Georgia winning this game by a 3-6 point margin, so we are happily taking the moneyline in this spot. Let’s cash!

Alabama vs. Georgia Pick

We will be taking Georgia moneyline for 3 Units on a 1-3 Unit Scale.
