It is officially week one of the college football season. The West Virginia Mountaineers travel up north to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers. Matt McCuen breaks down the game.
ANALYSIS

It is officially week one of the college football season, so that means it is officially time to get rich. We had a solid week 0 going 3-2 and walking away with a decent profit. The goal in this article will be to go to 2-0. Week 0 is great, do not get me wrong but this week, one card is absolutely loaded. We can kick back all day from Thursday-Saturday and watch college football all day and gamble. That’s the dream. The first game I want to get into will be the West Virginia Mountaineers vs. the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Pittsburgh Panthers vs. West Virginia Mountaineers Prediction

Pitt comes into this game as a -7.5 point favorite at home. Pitt graduated Heisman finalist Kenny Pickett and bought in USC Transfer Kedon Slovis to replace him. Slovis is a guy who has a ton of potential but never really worked out in USC. He is looking for a fresh start here in Pitt on an extremely talented football team.

West Virginia will hand the keys to Georgia transfer JT Daniels. Daniels was a part of the Georgia team that won a championship a year ago, so he brings experience with him. He is a very talented QB who will look to show off his talents this season.

My favorite play in this game is the over. I am shocked we are getting a number this low with these two offenses. I am a big fan of both these QBs, and I believe a new team will boost both their confidence. Pitt has a ton of playmakers on their offense, and this is not a great West Virginia defense. West Virginia’s offense is not quite as good as Pitt but I have a lot of question marks about the Panther's defense. I think JT Daniels will come out strong in week one and put up points against Pitt. This should be a great game with a ton of points. Let’s cash in!

Pittsburgh vs. West Virginia Pick

Pick: Pitt/West Virginia Over 51 -110 (Bet $110 to win $100)
