Missouri vs. Louisiana Tech Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Smoke Harris and the Offense Smoke the Tigers?
We're about 30 hours away from football so obviously, that's all I am thinking about. On top of that, I'm not a huge fan of tonight's MLB slate so with that being said, it's probably time to just go ahead and get down on the football action for Thursday. Feels right. By my count, there are six college football games on the board at DraftKings right now. When I saw that, I knew that the odds of us finding a bet that has no chance of losing were very good. We're talking six games here people. That's too many for the books to keep track of. Lucky for us, I dove into the Missouri vs. Louisiana Tech game first and I found what could be the most disrespectful line I've ever seen. I can't even believe the line makers would do this to kids. Just sickening.

Louisiana Tech Team Total Over 19.5 (-130) (Bet $130 to win $100)
*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*
We're at DraftKings for this one as I don't even see team totals at the other books yet. It's a shame because I decided to become an NCAAF team total expert this season. How am I supposed to bet team totals if the books don't put outlines for them? Thank God DraftKings has their eyes on the ball. On top of them putting out a line, we also got a better number than I'd thought we'd get. Life is good from where we're sitting.
Missouri Tigers vs Lousiana Tech Bulldogs Prediction
So this is the final week before we're dropping NFL player prop bombs all over the books on Thursday nights. It feels good to say that but honestly, we should probably mix in a few NCAA team totals in there each week as well. There's absolutely no chance betting these will make our Thursdays less fun so there is that to consider. Obviously this Thursday we have no choice since NCAA has the only football on television. Our hands are tied here so luckily we're doing the right thing.
Two words come to mind when I hear the name Sonny Cumbie, Air Raid. If you don't know who Sonny Cumbie is, he's the head coach at Louisiana Tech. He's a Mike Leach guy from back in the day so you know what that means. Spread the defense out, hopefully, go no-huddle and put points on the board. It's all part of the plan. The thing is, Cumbie possibly has the horses to score points this season too. We're talking Smoke Harris here people. That guy is good for at least seven. Probably more.
I know the haters are going to talk about Louisiana Tech playing over their heads in this one but as usual, they are exaggerating. People are saying the SEC isn't the same as Conference USA and that's true but let's be real here. Missouri isn't even close to the first team you think about when you think about the SEC. I do think they'll boat race the kids from Louisiana Tech, but at the same time, I think Louisiana Tech can at least get to 20. They did it in four of their last five games last year and the time they didn't, they hit 19. On top of that, Missouri gave up at least 20 points in every game they played last year. Feels right.
