UCF vs. Louisville Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, and Latest Odds: Can Malik Cunningham Bounce Back?
The Louisville Cardinals were blindsided by Garrett Shrader and the Syracuse Orange, last weekend. Malik Cunningham and co. were dominated in all three phases of the game to the tune of a 31-7 loss in the Carrier Dome. Heading into the game as 5.5-point favorites, Scott Satterfield's squad now sees themselves as touchdown-plus underdogs heading right back into hostile territory as the Cardinals travel to FBC Mortgage Stadium, Friday night.
Meanwhile, the Golden Knights took care of business, last weekend as UCF covered a massive 43.5-point spread en route to a 56-10 victory over South Carolina State. Ole Miss transfer, John Rhys Plumlee proved that Malik Cunningham won't be the only star dual-threat QB in this weekend's AAC showdown as the 21-year-old tossed four touchdowns to go with 308-yards through the air while adding 86-yards on the ground in the Knights' season opener.

UCF vs. Louisville Prediction
While many expected Louisville to challenge for the AAC Title in 2022-23, it appears as if the Golden Knights are in the driver's seat after week one action. A three-touchdown loss in the Carrier Dome doesn't look great, but there the spread for this one is a little bit of an overreaction to the Cardinals' horrible opener. Malik Cunningham were many's dark-horse Heisman Trophy pick for a reason and there's no reason to believe that he won't bounce back this weekend in Orlando. It's no secret that the Cardinals want to pound the rock and UCF boasted one of the worst run defenses in the entire country in 2021-22 and lost their only impact defensive lineman, Big Kat Bryant to the NFL Draft, this past April.
