Louisville vs Florida State Prediction

The Florida State Seminoles vs. the Louisville Cardinals will take place on Friday night under the lights for this ACC affair. The Seminoles enter play unblemished on the season, while the Cardinals carry a 1-1 record into play, coming off an impressive win over UFC last Friday night. Florida State had their first test of the season when they played LSU in what was essentially a road game, and they answered the call.

It was a wild game that saw LSU have the opportunity to tie the game and send it into overtime, but Florida State was able to block the extra point and ultimately walk away with a win. These are games that the last couple of seasons, Florida State would have lost. They have not been good in close games the last couple of seasons, but that win over LSU is hopefully a sign of things to come for Mike Norvell and his Florida State program.

This is one of the most storied universities in the sport. They have not been as good as their standard the last few seasons, but I believe in this team. Louisville has also struggled the last few years, and they are hoping their win over UCF will give them momentum coming into this game tonight at home. Malik Cunningham, who is the signal caller for the Cardinals, is one of the more athletic QBs in the nation, and if he is locked in tonight, the Cardinals will have a chance to pull off the upset. Their defense was outstanding last weekend after getting lit up by Syracuse in week 1. 

I am backing Florida State on the moneyline. I am very high on this Seminoles team as I took their team total over coming into the year. Jordan Travis is one of the more underrated QBs in the nation, and I believe that he can lead Florida State to a lot of success this year. Mike Norvell is a great coach in my eyes, and he finally has most of his own recruits on the field. This is a defense that is extremely athletic and should match up well against Cunningham and the Cardinals tonight. I believe the line is off here, so let’s take advantage!
