The primetime game of the night is Michigan State at Washington. Michigan State will see a familiar face on the other side of the ball. Former Indiana Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is at the helm for Washington. This game has the chance to be a barn burner but there is one thing that I feel will be a factor in this game. That's the home crowd for Washington. Washington has been known for playing well at home in the past. One thing is I'm not sold on this Michigan State offense at all. They haven't looked very good in the first two games.
I truly believe that Penix Jr. is going to have the game of his life tonight. Playing under the lights and in primetime will bring the best out of Penix Jr. I really feel he is a very talented quarterback, but injuries have really hurt him in his career. He has a lot of weapons in Washington. Jalen McMillan has really shown to be Penix JR's favorite target this season, he has 9 catches for 214 yards and 3 TDs. He is averaging 23.8 yards a catch and Penix Jr. has 682 yards, 6 TDs, and only 1 interception on the season. This Michigan State defense still struggles in the passing game also. Look for Washington to really test that Michigan State pass defense.
This game will be the game everyone will be watching at 7:30 pm EST. One thing about this game is to look for Washington to show up and show out for the PAC 12. They get a ranked team at home in primetime. What is better than that? Michael Penix Jr. gets to face an old rival also. There are a bunch of storylines coming up to this game. In the end, I really feel Washington will be the better team tonight. I wouldn't be shocked to see Washington win this game by 10+ points. Let's cash another College Football play!
