Baylor faces off with Iowa State midafternoon in Ames. I really feel the oddsmakers are overlooking Baylor in this game. This Baylor team is very good in my opinion. The loss at BYU doesn't define this Baylor team. Iowa State in my opinion hasn't looked that great. They have struggled to score points this season. The player Baylor has to stop though is Xavier Hutchinson. He the most dangerous threat for Iowa State.

Baylor's defense has been the strong point this season. Their offense though has looked better over the recent weeks. I feel this Baylor defense will give Iowa State a lot of problems. I'm not a believer in Dekkers at all for Iowa State. He tends to force the ball on offense and is vulnerable to turnovers. Baylor is really going to try to get the run game going. They have 3 headed running back committee that I see having a good game in this one. I also believe Blake Shapen will make enough plays to keep Baylor in this game. He has shown to do just enough to manage this offense this season.

This game is going to be a close game throughout. Both of these teams will make some big stops and both of these teams will make some big plays. But the more experienced team will come out in the end. I truly believe Baylor is more experienced and already has been really battle-tested this season. Yes, Iowa State won in Iowa, but this Iowa team this year is dreadful. That game was very ugly. Baylor had their chances to beat a very good BYU team on the road and just failed late.
