Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Max Johnson and the Aggies Continue Hot Streak?
Looking to still get the sour taste of being upset by Appalachian State, two weeks ago, will be Max Johnson and the Texas A&M Aggies. Following the nightmare loss to the Mountaineers, head ball coach, Jimbo Fisher decided to bench Haynes King for LSU-transfer, Max Johnson. Since making the change, A&M's knocked off two-straight ranked opponents in the form of Miami and 10th-ranked Arkansas, this past weekend.
Will Rogers will look to continue his dark-horse Heisman Trophy season when he and the Bulldogs of Mississippi State host Texas A&M. Three out of the Bulldogs' four outings in their 2022-23 campaign have been wire-to-wire wins for Mike Leach's squad. However, they were in for a rude awakening when the team traveled to Death Valley on a gloomy Saturday night, two weeks ago and were out-played by an angry LSU team who was just two weeks removed from a heartbreaking loss to Florida State on opening night. Outside of the trip to Baton Rouge, Will Rogers has been absolutely sensational as he's tossed 16 touchdowns to go along with just three interceptions with an average of 347 passing yards per game.

Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M Prediction
This game's line is worrying. Yes, Texas A&M lost to a newly-promoted FBS team at home, yes, Mississippi State has one of the best offenses in the entire country, and yes, Starkville is a great home-field advantage. However, Texas A&M was a top-10 pre-season team for a reason. Fresh off having one of the best recruiting classes of all time coupled with an already stacked roster of talent to go along with a much more stable QB situation with Max Johnson now under center, Texas A&M should be favorites heading into this one. Take Texas A&M to win this one outright and feel good about it.
