The North Carolina State Wolfpack vs. the Clemson Tigers will battle it out from Death Valley on Saturday night. It is prime-time football, and I am fired up for this game. These are the two best teams in the ACC, and this game will decide a lot moving forward for these two teams. Clemson is coming off of a come-from-behind win at Wake Forrest last week. NC State has not been tested as much as Clemson has on the young season, but they do bring a 4-0 record into play, and they find themselves ranked in the top ten. North Carolina State has not been seen as a football school in quite some time, and they have not beaten a top-five team on the road in over fifty years. It is needless to say that this is a meaningful game tonight for the Wolfpack program.

Clemson vs. North Carolina State Prediction

Clemson has been at the top of the ACC for a long time, and the Wolfpack wants to change that tonight. Clemson has been impressive so far this year, displaying one of the more talented defenses in the nation despite struggling last week against Wake Forrest. Clemson feels confident that they are the best team in the ACC, and they will look to put that on display in front of their home crowd tonight. 

I will be backing the Tigers on the -6.5 spread. I really do like this position for Clemson at home. I understand a lot of people like the Wolfpack with the points, but I do not think that they have been tested yet this season. This is their first true test, and they have to play at Clemson, which is one of the toughest places to play in the nation. If Clemson wins tonight, they will tie the ACC record for most consecutive wins at home. This is a top-five defense in the nation in my eyes, and I fully expect them to bounce back and dominate tonight. Let’s keep rolling!
