Cornell vs. Harvard Prediction, Picks, Odds: Can Harvard Shock Cornell in This Ivy League Showdown?
Harvard is a team who has been a perennial power in the Ivy League over the last few seasons. Harvard is once again expected to compete for another Ivy League title this season, but they have gotten off to a bit of a tough start by their standards. They do come into this game with a 2-1 record, but they are currently 0-3 ATS on the season and are not covering by an average of 12.0 ppg.

Cornell vs. Harvard Prediction
While Harvard has struggled against the number, their offense has been their strong point this season as they have scored at least 21 points in every game and have put up 350+ yards of offense in each game. They will be facing a Cornell squad that is typically a middle-of-the-pack Ivy team but is showing major improvements. Cornell comes into this matchup with a 2-1 record and has performed very well compared to their expectations. They won SU in their opening game against VMI as 14-point underdogs and are coming off another impressive road win over Colgate when they were 3-point underdogs.
One could say Cornell plays better in the underdog role but a few weeks ago, they were trounced by Yale in a very similar spot to this game. Cornell was coming off a road win as a dog and lost to Yale by 24 points in a game that was never really close. Now they are coming off another road win as an underdog and we have nearly the exact same line dynamic as the Cornell/Yale matchup from week 2 where Yale was victorious 38-14.

Even more similarly, Yale opened their season with a 24-point loss to Holy Cross where they were 8-point dogs and did not cover. They followed that up with a solid performance at Cornell and Harvard is also coming off their first loss of the season which also happens to be against Holy Cross. Holy Cross is a top 15 FCS team this season and is one of the few FCS teams to notch a win over an FBS team, so Harvard has nothing to be ashamed of by losing that game. Now they are in the perfect spot to put a hurting on a Cornell team who has really struggled on defense. Harvard is due for a breakout-type game, and I think they make a statement tonight.
With that being said, I am rolling with HARVARD -11.5 at -110 and the OVER 49.5 at -110 in this matchup for 1U each as two of my most confident College Football plays of the night.
Cornell vs. Harvard Picks
- HARVARD -11.5 at -110 1U (Bet $110 to win $100)
- OVER 49.5 at -110 for 1U (Bet $110 to win $100)
