The Cyclones come into this game fresh off a bad loss when they could not get past the Kansas Jayhawks. Bad kicking was the main source of why they could not get the win, and they are in hopes that they can get the bad taste out of their mouth with a big home win tonight over the Wildcats.

Kansas State has earned a number next to their name after knocking off the Oklahoma Sooners. Kansas State was able to handle Texas Tech last week at home, and they feel good about where their team is at right now. This is a group that did not have a ton of expectations coming into the season, but they have been able to prove the doubters wrong to this stage in the season. The only loss for the Wildcats came in week 3 when Tulane beat them 17-10. The Big 12 appears to be wide open, so this is a massive game for both of these teams.

Kansas State is hoping that their defense will show up tonight, as this is a unit that has struggled at times this season. The Wildcat's defense has allowed at least twenty-eight points in their last two games, but their offense has been able to pick up the slack. The Wildcats enter this game as a one-point road favorite. 

I am back on the Cyclones this weekend, even though they let us down last week. Last week was a weird game, and it was a game that they actually outplayed Kansas. They just could not finish off some drives, and their kicker had one of the worst games I have ever seen from a college kicker. I believe that their defense shows up tonight and that they can move the ball against this Kansas State defense, who I have not been overly impressed with. The Cyclones need this game at home today, and I am sure the crowd will be a nice boost from them tonight.
