Texas vs. Iowa State Prediction, Pick, Odds: Will Quinn Ewers Keep The Longhorns White Hot?
Texas is back...well, maybe...well, if Quinn Ewers can stay healthy. The Longhorns famously nearly knocked off Alabama back in week two, even after Ewers exited the game in the first half and backup Hudson Card also suffered an injury during the game and finished it seemingly on one ankle. Card would recover and remain under center for Texas' next three games and defeated UTSA and West Virginia but lost a shootout in OT against Texas Tech. Ewers would make his return to the lineup, this past weekend in the Red River Shootout and he got right back to business en route to a 49-0 embarrassment of their rival Sooners. Texas may be back after all.
Meanwhile, while Texas is on the upswing, the Cyclones of Iowa State are going in the opposite direction. ISU started off their season with a run-of-the-mill 42-10 victory over Southeast Missouri State followed by a 10-3 win over inter-state rival, Iowa, one week later. The 'Clones would crush Ohio the following week but have been on a downfall ever since entering Big 12 play. ISU came up short against Baylor 31-24 before dropping a 14-11 showdown against Kansas and most recently lost yet another nail-biter, this time, against Kansas State by a 10-9 margin, this past weekend.

Texas vs. Iowa State Prediction
While a conference game against a former top-25 team can be tricky, this is a classic case of two teams going in opposite directions. Quinn Ewers is back for the Longhorns and they picked right up where they left off, last weekend. While the Cyclones may be better than their 3-3 record indicates, it won't be enough this weekend in Austin. Longhorns...and BIG.
