The Road Runners come into this game as a heavy favorite and repping a record of 4-2 on the year. UTSA was very impressive a season ago, and they look like they will have an above-average team again this year. They have one of the best QBs in their conference in the form of Frank Harris. If you have not watched Harris play football, you need to turn into this game as he is one of the most underrated players in the nation in my eyes. Harris is a senior, so he brings a ton of experience into this matchup.
FIU enters play with a record of 2-3. They are coming off a game that they were dominated at home by the UCONN Huskies. UConn has been one of the worst teams in college football the last few seasons, so that game was pretty telling about how good this FIU team is. They will look to regroup and pull off a massive upset with a win at home this weekend.
The play I am turning to in this game will be the first half under. This number is far too high for this game because FIU really struggles to score the football. They had trouble the last two weeks scoring on New Mexico State and UConn, who are two of the best teams in the nation. I do think UTSA will be able to score, but I think that the pace here favors the under.
