That’s two shutouts, one game in which they scored a touchdown and one where they kicked three field goals.
That is deeper than a difference in talent or bad luck, that is truly scheme and head coach domination. It goes without saying Alabama has some of the best and most talented players in all of college football, but I really don’t see a single category they hold an edge here.
Do not get me wrong, I am impressed with what they have done the last few weeks and they are playing competitive football, but it feels like a spot in which they are just due to getting their you know what handed to them.
I would not have wanted to be a player at a Nick Saban practice this week because I assume he was ruthless but you do not build a dynasty as he has by being soft; the Vols played an incredible game and knocked off the Tide last week and State doing that is not even in the back of my mind this week, I don’t even know if they keep this completive, to be honest.

Saban and the Tide revenge game, look for another strong showing after a loss and a statement made in the first half.
