Ball State has turned around a 1-3 start to win four straight games. They sit at 4-3 on the season and are playing their best football right now. They welcome a 4-3 Eastern Michigan team who has had an up-and-down season to this point.

This Ball State team has a lot of talent but their record doesn't reflect that due to their early strength of schedule. Getting blown out by Tennessee is nothing to be ashamed of after you see how good Tennessee really is. Eastern Michigan comes into this game after a blowout loss at home against Northern Illinois. This team has been very hard to read this season. One week they look very good and the next week they look very bad. This should be a good game between two middle-of-the-pack MAC Schools.

Ball State is led by their quarterback John Paddock who is having a terrific year. He has over 1,700 yards passing with 12 touchdowns on the season. But, the Ball State run game has also been very good. They're led by Carson Steele who has 750+ rushing yards on the season with 8 touchdowns. This offense has really shown lately they can score the ball. Their defense has been pretty shaky this season but Eastern Michigan's defense has been even shakier.

They allowed 50 points to a very bad Buffalo team, in a game I watched and left thinking they looked horrible. If Ball State can get their pass game and run game going I can't see them being stopped at all. Ball State is also playing at home, where they haven't lost this season. I just can't trust this Eastern Michigan team to have a good week. They got blown out by a below-average Northern Illinois team that Ball State beat the week before.

So, this is one of my favorite plays of the day. When I saw this line I honestly felt it was a trap but it really isn't. Both of these teams have lost to a team that the other has beaten. So I honestly can understand this line. Let's rock this Ball State moneyline!
