We're going to need some action for Saturday night. You know it, I know it, the books know it. This isn't some secret I'm trying to pass off as one. We all know how Saturdays work. We've lived hundreds of them. Lucky for us, college football is in full swing so we've got a ton of games to choose from. All we have to do is find an underdog that we think will win straight up and get to manipulating. What I mean by that is moving the line. If we think an underdog will win straight up, why not move the line a little? Instead of taking the money line like a chump, make these dogs -2 or something like that. We owe it to ourselves and our families to be the best gamblers we can possibly be. You know I'm right. You also know I'm only bringing this up now because I have the perfect game to do this with.

We're at DraftKings because they have the best way to do this. FanDuel lets you buy and sell points but they have -2.5 (+126). Obviously, that's not as good as what we have with DraftKings. I'm not sure of too many other books that let you move the line, but if you find one, get to work. You never know what you will find. Sometimes it's like this where you think the team you're betting can win by a touchdown or more. Feels right.

People are down on Boise State. They should be too. We're talking about a team that had their quarterback enter the transfer portal after they fired their offensive coordinator. That's not great. But here's the thing. They've won both games since then. On top of that, they've kicked the dog shit out of both teams they've played. We're looking at a turnaround story here and it's like people don't even care.

I'm a big Taylen Green guy. I have been since the first game of the season when he came in and went all superman on Oregon State. He ran for 100+ yards and two touchdowns that night. The kid looked like Mike Vick at Virginia Tech that night. But this isn't about Taylor Green. This is about defense. Boise State is fifth in the country in opponent yards per play. They are 10th in opponent yards per carry. That's damn good.

The reason that matters is because Air Force just runs. They do that triple-option bullshit over and over again. They literally threw three passes last week. The week before that they threw 12 in a shootout. If you have ever played NCAA on Playstation before, then you know that stopping the triple option with a good run defense is so easy. You almost feel bad for the person trying to run it on you. It never works. I'd be shocked if this is even a game in the third quarter. Boise is going to roll these kids.
