East Carolina vs. UCF Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, and Latest Odds
My biggest single play on the college football slate today is in the UCF vs. ECU game on the evening slate and I must be honest with y’all I am ecstatic about this one.
In my eyes, the only way this play does not hit (and probably hit comfortably) is if UCF lays a dud or ECU plays the best game of their season and I don’t find either of those two results likely.

East Carolina vs. UCF Prediction
UCF has won the last five straight meetings between these squads and took four of the five by 13+. Three of those five victories were by a minimum of 21 points and the crazy thing is none of those teams were coached by former Auburn SEC Coach Gus Malzahn who has been dominating with his squad this year.
None of those teams had the offensive scheme (partially but not entirely) that they do now and that is a good thing in my eyes as I believe this team is more lethal than it was in years past. The offense is so explosive and the scheme capabilities with a truly dynamic dual-threat quarterback in John Rhys Plumlee are endless.
The passing game has gotten better each week and the ability to run the ball down any opponent’s throat has been obvious since week one. They aren’t a true option team but when a defense must account for both the running back and quarterback to carry the ball on every down as well as the possibility of a pass, it is hard to keep them from gaining yards.
It comes down to the scheme from Gus and execution from the QB1 but everything we have seen this season tells me they can continue to execute as they have, if not better, in this game.
This game is the Knights to lose.
