Washington State is a tough team to read as they have played well against better teams such as Wisconsin and Oregon, but have sputtered their last few games as they lost to Oregon State by 14 and USC by 16 and they really shouldn’t have covered against Oregon as they scored a TD in the final seconds to cover that game as well.
One thing that has been a common theme for Washington State is how well they have played against ranked opponents in the first half of those games. They went into madison and beat Wisconsin and they covered the 1H spread there easy. Then they came out at home against Oregon and blitzed them in the first half as they led 17-9 at the half and were playing great before they collapsed in the 4th quarter. Then against USC they only trailed by 3 at the half before yet again, floundering in the second half. With that being said, I am rolling with Washington State 1H +4.5 -110 for 1U as one of my most confident College Football plays of the day.
