I honestly feel as though this line should be closer to a touchdown in favor of the Demon Deacons on the spread but I am not complaining, the field goal line allows us to actually play Wake on the money line which I love here.
Yes, Louisville is a 4-3 squad but they are worse than they appear in my mind. They got their behinds handed to them by Syracuse in Week 1 and played a close game in the loss to FSU but they never should have lost to Boston College and I feel like their weaknesses are going to be easily exploited here today in this one.
Wake Forest is a one-loss team and suffered that one to an undefeated Clemson team which is ranked fifth in the country. In that game was a shootout that they had a chance of winning as well. Malik Cunningham is a good quarterback but Sam Hartman is better with a stronger squad around him.

They have put up 41 points on average each game this season. That number has been reached just once (and not surpassed, it was legitimately 41) this season by Louisville and that was against a 1-7 USF squad. Even if this is a shootout in the first half I find it hard to believe they will stick around long enough and be able to keep throwing counterpunches in this one.
