Kent State's style of play should help us over with how fast they play on offense. Kent State has three offensive players who are having an incredible season. Collin Schlee, Marquez Cooper, and Cephas are the big three for the Golden Flashes. These three accommodate most of their offense this season.
On the other side of the ball, you have a very high-powered Ball State offense that is led by quarterback John Paddock who has almost 2000 passing yards on the season. That is an incredible stat for a MAC Quarterback. These two teams have shown week after week they have the offenses to put up a lot of points. The defenses have really struggled to stop anyone this season. The style of play of both of these teams should easily cash this over for us also.
So with this game, I’m rocking the first quarter over. With the talent these two teams have on the offensive side of the ball and the big play ability I expect to cash fairly easily. These offenses are allowing over 400+ yards a game and haven’t been able to stop anybody on the defensive side of the ball either. Kent State also plays hurry-up offense so they should at least get the ball twice or more in the first quarter alone. The speed both teams bring into this matchup will be big too.
