Let’s get one thing straight these two teams hate each other. I would compare this game to any great rivalry in sports. Think of Red Sox vs. Yankees, Eagles vs. Cowboys, Duke vs. North Carolina. That is how these teams feel about each other.

Coastal comes into this game with an overall record of 7-1. Coastal sits at the top of the conference with a 4-1 record. This is a team that has taken college football by storm in the last couple of years. Coastal has pumped out back-to-back eleven wins seasons. They are 29-4 overall in their last three years combined. This is the class of the Sun Belt at the moment.

App State has not been too shabby. Coming into the year, App State has not had a losing season since 2014 when they joined the Sun Belt. App State has won four conference titles since joining in 2014. They feel as if they have a team that can make noise and competes for another one, but they will need to pull off a road win tonight. App State enters play with an overall record of 5-3, and they are 2-2 in the Sun Belt.

App State has had some great highs and some bad lows this season. One of those great highs was when they knocked off SEC powerhouse the Texas A&M Aggies in college station. At the time, A&M was ranked number six in the nation. App State feels that they are the better team, and they are ready to go in and steal a game on the green turf. 

I am all over the Mountaineers tonight. Let’s just look at this line really fast. Coastal is 7-1, and they are the top team in the Sunbelt, yet they are a three-point dog at home. It is a fishy line, and I will trust the line and the team that is better in my eyes.
