We have to go to FanDuel because DraftKings won't even give us alt lines. It's crap. If you have to play there, it's either 56.5 (-110) or nothing. There's not even a money option for 57.5, which I would have loved to play. Now we have to gamble a little and go up to 58.5 at FanDuel, where we're at least getting +112. We can be proud of that when we sit down to watch the game tonight.

Here's the thing about both of these teams. I've never seen either play a single snap, but that's what makes me a very dangerous MAC bettor. In fact, it makes me more of an expert on the situation than someone who has actually watched these teams play this season. The more you think you know about these teams, the less you actually do. It's kind of like The Matrix a little bit. But not really.

The key to this whole game is Akron. They play ridiculously fast. We're talking almost 80 plays per game here people. Only five teams in the country run more on a per-game basis. While they're pretty bad, that strategy has at least produced points. They've dropped at least 21 points in four of their last five games. In three of those games, we've seen them score 27 points. Well, I didn't see it but others did. That's not that bad. In every game that Akron scored at least 27, the total for the game hit at least 59. That's important.

From the looks of it, Eastern Michigan needs someone they can bully. We all do sometimes (not advocating bullying). That makes Akron perfect. Eastern Michigan isn't afraid to drop points on the weaker teams. They hung 45 on Western Michigan. People are saying their defense is good since they held Toledo to 27 last time, but the Rockets played that game with their backup quarterback. If their starter would have played Toledo would have hung 50. This has all the makings of a 45-27 type game people. It just does (probably).
