ULL comes into this game with a record of 4-5 but they have played much better at home this season. ULL is a team that has really struggled with holding onto the ball and they turn the ball over a lot.
Luckily for them, Georgia Southern has not forced a lot of turnovers on the road. Georgia Southern has only forced two turnovers in five road games this season, and while Georgia Southern is 5-4 on the year, they are just 2-3 on the road. They haven’t been road warriors like so many other teams I have written about this season.
Georgia Southern’s main problem this season has been their ineptitude on defense. In five road games, they have allowed 575, 413, 485, 522, and 446 yards. They simply are not able to stop teams on the road. In those five road games, they have allowed 250+ rushing yards in three of them. ULL is not exactly an offensive powerhouse but they have shown flashes and are averaging just under 30 points per game at home this season. ULL has frequently given away leads in the 2H but I do think they will get off to a good start tonight against a very weak Georgia Southern defense. With that being said, I am rolling with ULL 1H ML at -145 (Risk 1U) as one of my most confident College Football pick of the day.
