Auburn vs. Texas A&M Prediction, Pick, Odds: Which SEC Team Will Break Long Losing Streak?
Auburn vs. Texas A&M is usually a highly anticipated matchup in college football, but not this year. Texas A&M and Auburn are currently both 3-6 on the season. It's unlikely that either team will even make a bowl game this year.
But here's the good news for both fan bases: one team has to win and end its long losing streak. Neither team has won in over a month. Which team will end the cold spell on Saturday?
Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Saturday's game between the Texas A&M Aggies vs. Auburn Tigers.

Auburn Tigers vs. Texas A&M Aggies Prediction
The Texas A&M Aggies lost to Florida, 41-24, last week after many vital players were out with the flu. There's a good chance that most, if not all, of those players will return to action on Saturday, including quarterback Connor Weigman.
The Aggies have scored 22.8 points per game but have allowed 23.9 points. Still, the offense has earned over 360 yards. However, the defense has allowed 388.7 yards, including 215.1 yards on the ground per game. The secondary has played well enough, and the pass rush is still adequate for the Aggies on the defensive end.
On offense, Connor Weigman will likely get the start as long as he's healthy. Haynes King was given another opportunity to lead the Aggies and finished with a QBR of 37.7 in their loss to Florida at home. On the other hand, Weigman is a true freshman who almost led the Aggies past a top-ranked Ole Miss team in the game before Florida. He finished with a QBR of 80.9 and had four passing touchdowns with no interceptions. He was one of the most highly regarded recruits in college football and is now proving his ability.
Meanwhile, Auburn kept things close against Mississippi State in a huge comeback to earn overtime. Eventually, the Tigers fell to Miss State, but the run game between Robby Ashford, Tank Bigsby, and Jarquez Hunter was dominant. That's not good news for Texas A&M, who have struggled to stop the run in the first place. The Tigers have scored 24 points per game but have allowed nearly 31 points per game. The offense has earned 382.6 yards, but the defense is giving up 403 yards per game. That's unlike most Auburn teams we've seen in recent years, but with a fired head coach in the middle of the season, there's a disconnect in that program.
Auburn's got some excellent prospects in coverage and is very solid with its pass rush. Like Texas A&M, they've struggled against the run. But ultimately, Auburn's been the more consistent defense, despite allowing more yards per game.
However, if Weigman is healthy and available, I like the Aggies' chances of putting points on the board against Auburn. We'll get an excellent rushing performance out of Auburn in this game.
Therefore, I'm backing the over for this SEC matchup.
