USC vs. Colorado Prediction
USC has been firing on all cylinders lately. They are averaging 41 PPG and Caleb Williams has looked as good as he is advertised. Now they play the 1-8 Colorado Buffaloes who have struggled all season. Colorado needs to blow up its team and start from scratch. This team is very bad and I honestly expect USC to be up by 30+ by halftime. The hurry-up kind of offense will give Colorado a lot of problems. This Colorado defense is allowing 40 points per game also. Lincoln Riley knows he can't really get much from this game, however, one thing he can get from this game is style points. If USC blows them out of the water they can possibly get ranked higher in the college football playoffs.
USC was a couple of seconds away from being undefeated on the season. Utah went for two and shocked USC. But this USC team is super talented. It's led by quarterback Caleb Williams and receiver Jordan Addison. The Trojans are super deep and Coach Lincoln Riley has done a tremendous job in his first season at USC. This USC team right now has a 62% chance to make the College Football playoffs if they win out. I really expect this team to put the peddle to metal every game this season.
Colorado has been horrible all season. Their offense has been lackluster and their defense has been allowing 383ypg. This is not a good sign when playing an explosive offense like USC that's averaging close to 500YPG on the season. USC will score early and often on this Colorado team.
I honestly expect this game to be a complete blowout in the 1st half. The 1st half spread will be money for this game; one of my favorite college football plays of the day. This USC team also plays offense at a high pace. They will have Colorado on their back foot all game long. Nothing that Colorado does will be able to work against this offense. Colorado's offense will be shut down by USC's defense as well. This Colorado offense has been downright horrible and they haven't been able to block all season. USC has some stars on their defensive front also. I honestly can't expect Colorado to score at all in the first half. Let's cheer for an early blowout and cash!
