TCU vs. Texas Player Prop Pick
Max Duggan 275+ Passing Yards (+124) Bet $100 to collect $224. FanDuel has the best odds, click here
We're at FanDuel here because they give us ladder opportunities. Sure, we could take this kid over 261.5 (-114) but why do that when you can just grab a price with a plus sign in front of it? That makes sense and you know it. If you can't play at FanDuel, you'll have to settle for the 266.5 (-115) standard line at DraftKings since they are the only other book I can see with prop lines.
TCU vs. Texas Prediction
Let me tell you a little bit about Max Duggan. All you need to know is this kid is due after what happened last week against Texas Tech. Now many people are going to say it was all Max's fault but I disagree. I think Texas Tech stinks at stopping the run so TCU just kept running with Kendre Miller. It worked and TCU won the game. Our boy Max only threw the ball 23 times and he didn't even cross the 200-yard mark.
Thankfully, Max should throw the ball at least 25 times tonight. Why is that important? Because every single time this kid has thrown the ball 25+ times in a game, he's gone over 275 passing yards. It makes sense because the more you throw the more opportunities you have of gaining passing yards. I don't want to get too wild but Max has gone over 300 yards four times in his last seven games prior to last week's egg. FanDuel has 300+ priced at +220 and 325+ at +370 if you need to get a little nasty.
Opponent matters people and TCU have a good one tonight in the Texas Longhorns. This game is pretty much for all the marbles since TCU is playoff bound at the moment. The thing is, Texas is good. Real good. They should hang points on TCU. But here's a dirty little secret the Texas people won't tell you about. The Longhorns give it up in the passing game. Partly because their run defense is so good and partly because they can't cover wide receivers. They're not even in the top 100 in the country over the last three weeks in opponent yards per attempt. Each of the last three quarterbacks they've played has thrown for at least 329 yards. This bet has no chance of losing.
