Dave Aranda's Baylor Bears look for their biggest win of the season when they host the fourth-ranked team in the country, the TCU Horned Frogs. Baylor started the year as the 10th-ranked team in the country but had their season quickly go downhill when the lost a narrow 26-20 game against the then-ranked BYU Cougars. Following their loss against BYU, Baylor seemingly got back on track with back-to-back wins over Texas State and Iowa State but would go down once again, this time to the 9th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys. Baylor would lose their following game against West Virginia but won three consecutive games against Kansas, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma before their blowout loss at the hands of Kansas State, this past weekend.
Meanwhile, the TCU Horned Frogs began their season on the opposite spectrum from Baylor as their 2022-23 campaign began unranked. Following ho-hum wins over Colorado, Tarleton, and SMU to begin the season, TCU went ignored by media and fans alike. However, a 55-24 throttling of Oklahoma forced pundits to pay attention to what was happening in Forth Worth. TCU followed up their victory over the Sooners with wins over then-undefeated Kansas, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, West Virginia, Texas Tech, and most recently, Texas, this past weekend down in Austin.

When it comes to picking this one, it may be where the fairy tale season ends for the TCU Horned Frogs. While betting against TCU may seem like the trendy thing to do, there's really no logical reason to think Baylor will win, this weekend other than thinking TCU will eventually lose a game. Baylor has struggled mightily against top competition, this season, and TCU has answered all calls, thus far in 2022. Max Duggan (should be) a certified Heisman Trophy candidate and Sonny Dykes’ squad will need another elite performance from their Senior signal caller if the Horned Frogs are to remain in the College Football Playoff conversation.
