We're at FanDuel for this one since they have the ladders. It's a couple of days before Christmas so obviously, we want to get to the moon. If we don't have ladders, then how the hell are we supposed to get there? It's science. Luckily FanDuel provides these. Now obviously not everyone can play at FanDuel and if that's you, then go over to DraftKings. They've got this kid at 53.5 (-115). It was 48.5 (-115) last night but whatever. When he goes for 100+, none of that will matter.
Missouri vs Wake Forest Prediction
Do you want honesty? Of course, you do so I'll give you some. This kid is filthy. Not just regular filthy, but filthy-filthy. Maybe the filthiest kid you'll see this week. He's only a freshman, but he can get loose in a phone booth. He could also catch a bb in the dark if he was asked to. Those are my two top qualities in a wide receiver. He has both. His only issue this season was that he was a freshman playing behind a kid named Dominic Lovett.
Just yesterday, or the day before, Lovett committed to the Georgia Bulldogs so he won't be playing this evening. We're talking about a kid who was targeted 76 times this season. He's just gone. I think we both know that those targets will have to go somewhere. Why not to the kid that can get loose in a phone booth and catch a bb in the dark? Makes sense. Lovett wasn't around on November 5th against Kentucky and Burden went 6-60. If we get the right opponent, those numbers should swell.
Lucky for us, Wake Forrest is the right opponent. These kids can get into a shootout with anyone. Since October 29th, they've allowed at least 30 points to everyone they've played. That's because they score themselves and since Missouri is missing a few guys from the defensive line, it stands to reason they'll score a little today. A shootout would be nice but I don't even think it's necessary. Wake Forest has allowed 9.8 yards per pass attempt over their last three games. This kid could easily go off tonight and stuff a ton of cash in our pockets in the process. Feels right.
