We're at DraftKings for this one because FanDuel has yet to give us numbers for this game. I get that we are talking about Utah State and Memphis here but still, it's a bowl game and people want to bet player props for bowl games. It's just how bowl games work. And player props. Still, we should be happy that at least one book has stepped to the plate. Even though we can't get to the moon with a standard line, we can still get in the air. That feels pretty good.

So not a lot is known about this kid. Not by me at least. From what I gather, he plays quarterback for the Utah State Aggies. He's not a big kid at 6'1" tall and 215 pounds, but I bet he plays with a lot of heart (probably). I know he's from Utah so there's that too. It was probably his dream to play for Utah State so you know we'll get some effort from this kid. He seems like a fighter with the name Cooper. His friends probably call him "Coop" which is a solid nickname. Everyone knows that. That's something we can get behind.

I did a little research on Utah State and it seems like they got comfortable throwing the ball late in the season. Not super comfortable, but comfortable enough. Our boy Coop threw the ball 100 times over the last three games. He wasn't just throwing the ball though, he was completing passes. He went over this number in all three of those games I just talked about. We're talking three for three here people. In the last game he played, he went 300+ against Boise State. That's legit. Way to go Coop!

Now the haters are going to say that all-world running back, Calvin Tyler, is playing in this bowl game and that he'll steal yardage from Coop. That's just not true. The Tyler kid can run, but they're playing against a Memphis team that can stop the run. We're talking about the 24th-best in the country in terms of opponent yards per attempt. Tyler was just bottled up by a 28th-best Boise State team last game. The same game Coop hung 300+. I'm thinking Memphis scores on Utah State, stops them from running, and forces our boy Coop to make magic happen with his arm. Easy money people.
