Kansas vs. Arkansas Prediction

Matt Landers Over 66.5 Receiving Yards (-114) Bet $100 to collect $187. FanDuel has the best odds, click here to bet

We're at FanDuel for this one because DraftKings is on to this kid. Like big time. Currently, they've got 74.5 (-115) and while I think he does that, we still obviously want the lower number. At some point in the day, we could even see ladders at FanDuel so there's that to consider too. I'm thinking all the way up to 100+ or maybe even 110+. Yesterday it took forever for FanDuel to post them but they did actually post them so there's hope. Time will tell on those though.

Let me tell you a little bit about Matt Landers. He's a standup kid. While other kids in his position are skipping bowl games to prep for the NFL Draft, he's not. He's out there running routes like a true champion. This kid has been in college forever but he still hasn't had enough of the college game. From Georgia to Toledo and then to Arkansas, he's played all over the place and all he's done is produce. It should be easy for him since he's 6'5" tall and 200 pounds. What a beast.

Now I love the fact that he's called the "Slim Reaper" by many, but what I like most is the fact that Arkansas' pass catchers are all quitting. Jadon Haselwood and Trey Knox are both gone so the only other guy left that caught a lot of passes this season is running back, Raheim Sanders. Arkansas doesn't throw the ball much but when they do, I think Landers is the obvious target. You know they will dial up stuff for him since he could have easily skipped this game. Their coach mentioned him by name when he was talking about high draft picks playing in bowl games. That's worth multiple extra targets.

Obviously, we can't just take the coach speaking as gospel, so we'll have to look at the opponent. Kansas is the exact team every offense in the country wants to see on their schedule. They are a legit video game numbers defense. They've given up at least 43 points in each of their last three games. Teams just do whatever against them. The thing we have going for us today is the fact that their offense will likely score on Arkansas so we could get a little back and forth going. We want that since the last game they gave up 10.1 yards per pass attempt. When that happens today, we're going to get paid. No chance this loses.
