Week 8’s NFL offering of Thursday Night Football may be the worst we have seen this season as the Washington Redskins head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. The Vikings are riding high at 5-2 on a three-game win streak while the Redskins have a temporary head coach and are just 1-6.

This game has the chance to get messy very quickly. With Adrian Peterson suffering a high ankle sprain the Redskins are reeling at running back to go with every other offensive position. After playing in a monsoon on Sunday they have to travel to Minnesota on a short week against a team who are looking really good right now. 15.5 points is a lot and it would not surprise me if there was a late cover in this game, but the Vikings are 5-0 ATS this season as underdogs and have far too much talent for this Redskins team.

The Vikings offense seems to have figured things out and it is hard to see how a reeling Redskins team can stop them.
