Week 11 sees the NFL head to Mexico for Monday Night Football. After the debacle last season that saw the game moved back to Los Angeles when the Rams were due to host the Chiefs, the pitch is looking good and this game should go ahead as planned.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Los Angeles Chargers
Estadio Azteca, 8:15pm ET Monday November 18th, 2019
1u – Los Angeles Chargers +4 @ +105
- The Los Angeles Chargers have had 11 days to prepare for this game, having played on Thursday Night Football in Week 10
- The Kansas City Chiefs have lost four of their last six, and allowed over 200 yards rushing last week
This game is a tough one to call because the struggles of the Chargers this season makes it hard to trust them. However, the Chiefs are struggling right now, and we have seen the blueprint in the last three games he has completed of how you beat this Chiefs team. The Chargers need to use the running game to starve the Chiefs offense of the ball. The Chargers have one of the best 1-2 running back combinations in the league and should be able to have similar levels of success to the Tennessee Titans last week. Much like the game between these two in primetime last time, it should come right down to the fire and therefore give me the team with more rest getting the points
1u – Over 52 Total Points @ -110
- Per statschecker, Kansas City Chiefs games have seen the over hit 70% of the time
- 6 of the 10 games the Chiefs have played this season have seen 50 or more points scored
Chiefs games this season have been wild, and I do not expect this to be much different. Throw in the high altitude likely leading to tired defenses towards the end of the game and this game could explode in the fourth quarter. The Chargers defense is banged up and the Chiefs defense is just a massive problem at this point in the season. I expect to see both teams move the ball with ease this week, and a similar type of game to what we saw when the Titans and Chiefs met last week in Nashville.
