Ravens vs. Rams Predictions, Picks & Statistics
Monday Night Football from the NFL is back in the US and back at the LA coliseum. The last time the Monday Night Football production rolled into the coliseum, we saw one of the offensive show pieces of the decade. This week the red-hot Baltimore Ravens are the team heading into LA, and we could be set to see another incredible offense run riot. The question is can the Los Angeles Rams stop them, or go point-to-point with them the way they did with the Chiefs last season.
Baltimore Raves @ Los Angeles Rams
LA Memorial Coliseum, 8:15pm ET Monday November 25th, 2019
2u – Baltimore Ravens -3 @ -105
- Per Statschecker, the Baltimore Ravens are 3-1-1 ATS on the road.
- The Ravens have won their last four games by 14, 17, 36 and 34.
Do I really want to pick the road team going into the home of the reigning NFC Champions? No
Do I really have a choice? No, because right now how can you pick against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens giving up less than a touchdown anywhere?
Just look at the recent run of form of this Ravens team. In those last four weeks they have scored 157 points (39.25 per game), while allowing just 56 (14 points per game). In their last four games the Rams have not scored over 39 points once, with their highest being 37 against the Falcons. In that four-game span they are 3-1, having scored 90 points (22.5 per game). Their defense has been an incredible strength allowing just 44 points (11 per game). The problem is when you look at their opponents; the 3-7 Falcons, the 0-10 Bengals, the 5-5 Steelers, who they lost too, and the 4-6 Bears. Meanwhile the Ravens have beaten the Seahawks (8-2), Patriots (9-1), Bengals (0-10) and Texans (7-4).
Does that mean the Rams cannot win? Absolutely not, as this game is must-win for them. However, until someone shows me they can stifle this Ravens offense, which has gone to a new level the past few weeks, I will take them and not think twice about it.
1u – Los Angeles Rams Under 21.5 Points @ -121
- Per Statschecker, the under hits in 70% of Rams games this season
- The Ravens have not allowed an opponent to score over 20 points since Week 5
You just cannot trust this Rams offense right now. They look disjointed and Jared Goff is lacking any form of confidence. Their offensive line is a mess, which may not be a disaster here because the Ravens pass rush is not that great. It is the defensive unit of the Ravens as a whole which stands out from the pack as opposed to their pass rush. Saying that I just cannot see how the Rams score three or more touchdowns this week. This game has the feelings of being the week the Rams playoff hopes take a big hit.
