This is a battle of two teams with very different objectives in 2010. The New York Jets are scratching for every positive they can get, while the Buffalo Bills are looking to make the playoffs and win the division. With both teams combining for four losses in the last two weeks, what should we expect to see in Week 7?
- The Bills offense has managed just 33 points in the last two weeks
- The Jets have scored a total of 10 points in the last two weeks
This game has the potential to be the ugliest contest of the week. The New York Jets offense has completely stalled, as they rank last in points per drive and net yards per attempt passing. On top of that they rank last in third-down conversion percentage and red-zone conversion percentage (23.1%). They should get a shot in the arm from the potential return of Sam Darnold, but when he is surrounding at talent it is hard to see the Jets getting to 20 points.
As for the Bills, it seems the book might be out on how to play this offense. After scoring 30 or more points for three weeks between Week 2 and 4, they have managed just 33 the last two. I do think their offense can get back on track in this one, but I also do not expect them to go hunting for 35-40 points in a game that could be over by half time.
Picking unders is never fun this season, but this game does not have many narratives that take it over 46 points. Even if the Bills get to 30, the Jets getting to 17 has only happened twice this season. Look for this to be an ugly game that does not feature much on RedZone after half time.
NFL Expert Picks
I wanted to take the Bills, but 13 points is too much after the issues we have seen the last two weeks. Sure, the Jets have lost by more than 14 four times this season, but I just cannot lay 13 points with Josh Allen looking erratic. Instead, look to use this spread and tease it down to the Bills -7, while teasing the total up to 52.5 and taking the under in a Same Game Parlay.

Week 7 is here and the season is really hotting up. The Chiefs and Ravens have had their ups and downs so far, but still find themselves as the two betting favorites for the Super Bowl. The Chiefs should have no problems against the Broncos on Sunday, whereas the Ravens have a bye week, so perhaps it's time for another team to steal the limelight in week 7.
