- The Texans have failed to cover the spread in their last 6 road games
The Browns come into this game with 3 more win than the Texans, with Houston currently sitting on a 2-6 record, despite being in a weak division. I'm surprised that the line is so short here and taking a -3.5 hit on Cleveland seems like a easy win.
The Browns see Nick Chubb return this week and there is little doubt that his return will be a huge boost to the offense, despite how well Kareem Hunt has done since he's been on IR. Chubb is a dynamic back and can elevate his team to another level. Despite all of that praise, he may not be the team's most important readdition, that could be Wyatt Teller. The guard has been back in practice for the first time since Week 5. The return of their guard will only strengthen that line, helping the run game and also giving Baker Mayfield more protection. Baker has been reactivated off the reserve/Covid-19 list following being placed on it as a precautionary measure after being a high-risk contact of somebody who tested positive.
The Texans are 31st in the league for yardage given up to running backs and I can't see anything but a rampaging Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, this weekend. I'm more than happy to give up the -3.5 points because I expect the Browns to win by 7 points or more.
