The Raiders are the better of these two teams and on paper they should cover the -5.5 spread here. I won't be suggesting betting it though. The reason for that is simple, there are many teams in this league who play to the level of the opposition more than the Raiders. They've claimed the scalps of the Saints and Chiefs this year and then they struggle to a win against the Chargers last week.
We know what we're getting with Denver too and you can write this game script perfectly. The Raiders will put up points early. They'll dominate and their recievers will play well against a Denver defense who are 25th in the league for TD allowed to the position. Then we'll see Drew Lock turn things on once they're down, and put on some points in garbage time, seemingly inspired by his teammate Blake Bortles.
The total points line is something the Raiders have covered in 7 of their last 8 games and I can see them covering today too. Las Vegas can put up 30+ points easily here and I'd back Denver to do the rest.
