Sam Farley is back to break down Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings this Sunday

Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings Predictions

  • The Vikings have covered the spread in their last 5 games against the Cowboys

The Vikings come into this as one of the form teams in the league, having won their last three games in a row. This is in stark contrast to the Cowboys who've lost four in row, including against divisonal rivals the Eagles and Washington, who aren't exactly great teams either.

The truth is that since Dak Prescott went down injured this team just hasn't looked good at all. Dallas wer unlucky that Andy Dalton got injured but he's been activated by the team and should be playing on Sunday. If Dalton can find some chemistry with rookie CeeDee Lamb, who looked outstanding when Dak was under center, then all hope need not be lost for Dem Boys.

Despite some green shoots of recovery the ultimate fact is that the Cowboys have only covered the spread once all season, their defense has been almost laughably bad at times, something the Vikings will be able to take advantage of.

Dalvin Cook has been the star of the show for the Vikings recently and he'll feast against a defense who are 24th in the league for yardage given up to running backs, with Dallas giving up an average of 142 yards on the ground per game.

I'm not overly comfortable given any team a seven point headstart over the Vikings but the Cowboys have been so bad recently that it's the only play that we can take here.
