Can the Cardinals rebound from their loss to the Seahawks in Week 11 or will the Pats come out on top?

Arizona Cardinals vs. New England Patriots Predictions

  • Arizona averages 28.7 points per game this season

New England has been one of the toughest teams to bet on or against this season. One week, they’ll look like one of the top teams in the NFL, and the next week they’ll come out completely flat.

There’s no better example of this than their last two performances. Two weeks ago, the Pats dominated Baltimore in primetime and won outright as an underdog. Then last week, they lost by seven to the struggling Texans at home.

It’s tough to know which team you’re going to get, but I think that I like the Cardinals either way on Sunday.

Arizona comes into this week’s game a 2.5-point favorites after a disappointing loss to Seattle. The Cardinals are 5-5 this year against the spread, while the Patriots are 4-6.

To me, this just feels like a game where the Patriots are way overmatched. Cam Newton had one of his best games passing last week and it still didn’t translate to a win.

In order for the Patriots to win, they’d need to be able to slow down the Arizona offense and I don’t think they’ll be able to do that. Arizona scores the seventh most points per game in the NFL, 28.7, and the Patriots have scored at least 28 points just one time in their last four games.

Kyler Murray continues to be one of the most explosive playmakers in the league at the quarterback position, and I think the Pats will struggle to keep him under wraps.

With Stephon Gilmore hinting he’ll be shadowing DeAndre Hopkins, guys like Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald, Chase Edmonds and Kenyan Drake should feast on an inconsistent Patriots defense. I like the Cardinals to win by 4-7 points.
