Sam Farley is back to break down Los Angeles Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills this Sunday

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills Predictions

  • The Chargers have covered the spread in their past 4 games against the Bills

Let's be honest with each other here, the Chargers are out of Super Bowl contention. It's still mathematically possible but in the AFC West there are some good teams and it's just not going to happen.

The Bills meanwhile must be feeling confident about their chances of winning their divison and moving on to the playoffs. The Josh Allen for MVP shouts have gone silent since the first three weeks of the season, but the Bills are still a very dangerous team and I think that they should win here against a Chargers team who are 3-7.

That 3-7 record for the Chargers is perhaps misleading, they've been in some very close games, and they could perhaps be sat in a far better position with a bit of luck and some more clutch plays. This isn't a bad football team and with Justin Herbert under center they are incredibly dangerous.

I'm refusing to write off the Chargers in this game and although the Bills should win I think that the Chargers will cover the spread. The Bills constantly give teams the opportunity to stay close to them and they rarely put teams to the sword. They've been in 4 games this season that have been seperated by just 3 points and even in two games against the terrible New York Jets they've only won by a combined 18 points.

Buffalo's defense is not good and they'll give the Chargers every chance to get a shock win here. I think that win will be beyond them but the Chargers +5 looks like real value here.
