Both these teams stink. Let’s get that out in the open before we even get started. But, one is coming off a lopsided win and is getting points. The other has lost two straight.
I like the Cowboys here, especially considering they started to look like a team again last week. I know, Cincinnati was without their best player in QB Joe Burrow. But, the Cowboys ran away with that game.
I don’t expect it to be pretty, but I do expect the Cowboys to keep it close and potentially win outright.
I also don’t expect a lot of points, so not only am I taking the Cowboys, but I’m also hammering the under.
San Francisco has the 10th ranked defense in the NFL, according to DVOA. They are one of the better units the Cowboys will have faced this season and I don’t expect Andy Dalton to put up big numbers. The Cowboys’ run game has also been subpar this season, even with a healthy Ezekiel Elliott in the lineup.
The total is set at 45.5 and I don’t think we will even sniff that. I think each team is going to score somewhere in the 14-20 points range.
Sure, the Dallas defense is bad, but the San Francisco offense has been awful lately too. Nick Mullens continues to be too inconsistent for me to really trust. He’ll put up some big plays but then also have some head-scratching turnovers to go with some great throws.
I’ll take the points with the Cowboys and I love the under 45.5 with two teams that haven’t been able to score consistently this year.

What a Week 15 we have in store. Sunday Night Football is Browns at Giants and Monday Night Football sees the Steelers travelling into Cincy to face the Bengals. While those games may not be fantastic the fact we have two Saturday games. First up is Bills at Bengals, followed by Panthers at Packers. Outside of those games we have some interesting clashes elsewhere. The Seahawks enter Washington as favorites but it'll be a tough ask against a defense who are really coming into form. The Eagles are giving Jalen Hurts another chance to perform against the Cardinals in a battle between two former Sooners quarterbacks. We also have the Chiefs against the Saints. It's going to be a fun week of football.
