Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals Predictions

The Philadelphia Eagles, 4-8-1, enter the week coming off their 4th win of the season. After a change at quarterback, Jalen Hurts sparked the Eagles offense in the 24-21 win over the Saints. Ending a 4-game losing streak.

The Arizona Cardinals, 7-6, enter the week coming off their 7th win of the season. After starting the season 5-2, the Cardinals ended a 1-4 stretch and a 3-game losing streak last week against the Giants.

Head coach Doug Pederson made the switch to Jalen Hurts in hopes of sparking the Eagles offense. A move that paid off with the Eagles upsetting the top-seeded Saints. This week, Pederson hopes that same spark continues in Hurts' second career start.

After only averaging 6 catches for 52 yards during their 3-game losing, Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins linked up for a big day. In last week's win, Hopkins caught 9 passes for 136 yards. His 6th 100+-yard game of the season. This week, Murray and Hopkins will look to keep their success, going against an Eagles defense that has given up big games to DK Metcalf, Davante Adams and Michael Thomas the previous three weeks.

Philadelphia will look to capitalize on the spark Jalen Hurts provided last week in his 1st career start. But, Philadelphia’s 13th starting offensive line combination of the season must stop the #1 blitz defense in the NFL, who average three sacks per game this season.

Arizona will focus on its run heavy offense and out-of-the-pocket mobility of QB Kyler Murray. But, Arizona must get past an Eagles defense that held mobile QB Taysom Hill to just 33 yards last week.

Even with the big days the previous three weeks, the Eagles defense has kept them in the game. Last week holding the 7th ranked Saints offense to just 21 points. Their lowest point total of the season.
