Nick Chubb Over 77.5 Yards Rushing @ -112
I’m still not entirely sure that I’m looking at this prop correctly. Nick Chubb, who averages 5.9 yards per carry and has rushed for more than 80 yards in every game this season except two, is -112 to go over 77.5 yards against the Giants? Sign me up.
Chubb is arguably the best running back in football not named Derrick Henry and the Browns are the No. 1 rushing team in the NFL. The Giants have a good rush defense, they’re 7th in the league coming into this week, but the Browns have run on every single team they’ve faced this season. I love this one and will be hammering it tonight.
Baker Mayfield Over 4.5 Yards Rushing
Not much goes into my play here other than the fact that Baker Mayfied is a good athlete that likes to get out of the pocket and use his feet to make plays.
Mayfield has rushed for at least 5 yards in eight games this season. Last week, he ran for 23, the second most he’s had all year. I’m not expecting him to set the world on fire tonight, but 4.5 seems like an easily attainable mark to hit.
Kyler Murray ran for 47 yards on this Giants defense last week. Kyler is obviously a different beast than Baker Mayfield, but with the total so low we just need him to break one play to go over.
Wayne Gallman Anytime TD Scorer @ +135
+135 is a great price for Wayne Gallman to get in the end zone tonight. He hasn’t scored in two weeks, but prior to that he had scored a TD in five straight games.
With either a hobbled Daniel Jones or a healthy Colt McCoy under center, the Giants are going to need to run the ball in order to try and keep it a game. Cleveland is 15th in the NFL in rush yards allowed per game, and while I don’t expect New York to move the ball all that well, I do excpect a few red zone carries for Gallman.
